Specifically designed for the classroom, instructional television (ITV) programming can be used to reinforce basic skills, explain difficult concepts, and help students explore other places and cultures. Instructional television addresses different learning styles and enhances a student's learning experience. ITV programming aired by the New Hampshire Public Television Knowledge Network has been selected by New Hampshire educators to align with New Hampshire's curriculum frameworks.
ITV programming airs during the school year from 2-6 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The early morning air allows schools and teachers to tape programming off-air for later use in the classroom.
