CIRQUE DU SOLEIL

Fusing the 3000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature. The show's name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.
In Dralion, the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form. Thus embodied, each element is represented by its own evocative colour: air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre. In the world of Dralion, cultures blend, Man and Nature are one, and balance is achieved.

As Bonamassa grows his reputation as one of the world’s greatest guitar players, he is also evolving into a charismatic blues-rock artist and singer-songwriter of stylistic depth and emotional resonance. Bonamassa has released ten solo albums – six debuting at #1 on the Blues Chart – and last year marked his twentieth year as a professional musician, a huge achievement for a performer just into his 30s. Recently, he was awarded the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the U.K.’s Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards. He was named “Best Overall Guitarist” in Guitar Player Magazine’s 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards and “Best Blues Guitarist” for the fourth consecutive year.

Many of us can remember growing up with and singing along to his hits, and any aspiring singer songwriter can attest to learning how to play his songs on guitar and being influenced by his moving lyrics. Don Mclean is one of America's most enduring singer-songwriters and is forever associated with his classic hits "American Pie" and "Vincent (Starry Starry Night)". Since first hitting the charts in 1971, Don has amassed over 40 gold and platinum records world-wide and, in 2004, was inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame.
