More than Foliage

Trees don’t just display brilliant leaf colors; they also make fruit. Fall is the perfect season to pick apples. Check out this list of state apple orchards to see if you have one close to your community: Apple Orchards

Apples are not just a great snack. They can also be a lot of fun to create artwork with. You can turn apples into stamps using paint, paper, and the help of an adult. Have an adult cut your apple in half. You can use just this or an adult cut even more of the apple to create a unique pattern. Dip the inside of the apple in paint and stamp it on paper. Try different kinds, shapes, and sizes of apples to create a really cool collage.
