Artiodactyla - pigs, hippos, giraffes, camels, moose, goats, bison, deer

Bighorn SheepThere are about 220 species in this order in 10 families. The species in this order are herbivores and have an even number of toes. Most of the artiodactyla have four-chamber stomachs. Most of the species in this order live in open habitats like grasslands and plains, but some live in forested areas. They are native to all of the continents except for Australia and Antarctica. Species in this order include: pigs, hippos, giraffes, camels, sheep, goats, bison, cows, moose, deer, and pronghorns.
