Students will be able to name all of the expenses, beyond tuition, involved in going to college. Students will be able to name some of the sources available to help pay for college. Before Viewing Poll your students and find out how many are planning on going to college and how many have a college savings plan in place.

After Viewing Have students list the things they have done to fund college and what additional steps they can take. ContactNH Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHEAF) and see if a representative can come into the class to talk to students and parents about financing college. Have students visit the FinAid and Federal Student Aid sites and investigate college financing.
