After Viewing Have students determine how much they can afford to give to charitable causes - time or money - and then investigate some organizations they might want to donate to. Have the class identify a local charity and then plan a fundraising event for that charity. Have students visit the Volunteer NH site and find out what local volunteering opportunities are available. Have students visit the Charity Navigator site and investigate how various charities are spending their money.
