Low expectations and lack of rigorous preparation often limit students' academic choices and hamper their chances for success. The College Track: America's Sorting Machine, which aired on NHPTV Sunday, September 26, explores America's commitment to equal access to higher education through the stories of students struggling to become the first in their families to attend college. The three-part documentary examines how innovative programs designed to bridge academic and social gaps can make a difference in a student's success.
After The College Track documentary, NHPTV aired a special hosted by NH Outlook's Beth Carroll. It focused on access to postsecondary education and planning for college in the Granite State.
