Pseudidae - paradox frogs

There are only four species in this family of South American frogs. The tadpoles in this family are 10-11 inches long, much larger three inch length of the adult frogs! The adults have stout bodies and long toes. They spend most of their time in the water, where they use their long toes to stir up the mud to find food.
