Notacanthiformes - spiny eels, halosaurs

Members of the Halosauridae family have eel-like bodies and are found in very deep offshore ocean waters.

Deep-sea spiny eels have a long, slightly taped body. They live in offshore waters around the world and are found at depths of 400-11,000 feet!
