Pseudocheiridae - ringtailed possums

There are 14 species of medium-sized marsupials in this family. They are found in Australia and New Guinea. They have long, prehensile tails and eat leaves. They are very agile and spend most of their time in trees. Species in this family include the green ringtail possum, the golden ringtail possum, the pygmy ringtail, the moss-forest ringtail, the rock ringtail possum, and the greater glider.
