Coliiformes - Mousebirds

There is only one family, Coliidae, in this order. It includes six species of mousebirds. Mousebirds are found in Sub-Saharan Africa. They are small gray birds, no more than 14 inches in length, with long, thin tails; stubby bills; and crests on their heads. They get their name from the way they scurry along like mice!
