Visit our National Historic Landmark with 25 original buildings situated on a rolling hilltop surrounded by open fields, woodlots, and ponds. Watch crafts being made in the Shaker tradition, including oval boxes, brooms, poplarware and dovetailed totes. Explore the Physician's Botanical garden and three easily accessible nature trails to millponds, archeological remains of old mills and dam sites 694 acres in all.

The Currier Museum of Art is an internationally renowned art museum featuring European and American paintings, decorative arts and sculptures...all in a classic setting. Visitors to the Gallery can view master works by the greatest artists in history with paintings by Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe, Gilbert Stuart, John Singleton Copley, John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer and Andrew Wyeth, and with sculpture by Henri Matisse, Frederic Remington and Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The museum has an excellent collection of American Impressionist paintings including works by Edmund Tarbell and Childe Hassam, and is well represented with contemporary works by Josef Albers, Adolph Gottlieb and Alexander Calder.

Located on 3.5 acres in downtown Portsmouth, the arts festival has a long and rich history of successfully presenting the arts with no fixed admission. Because of this policy, many people have their first experience with a live performance at Prescott Park.
In the 28 years, the arts festival has entertained more than 3 million people in more than 9,000 productions. Variety is truly the spice of life at the arts festival where classical ballet is presented right alongside rock n' roll.

Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site consists of 150 acres including the home, gardens and studios of Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1848-1907), one of America's foremost sculptors. This was his summer residence from 1885-1897, and his permanent home from 1900 until his death in 1907. There are two hiking trails that explore the park's natural areas.
