  Fifth Annual Reading Rainbow Contest

A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, years ago, there were two fairies who had extra-special powers. (Everyone knows that fairies have special powers, but these fairies could transform into animals) they got these powers from their parents' genes who got them from their parents' genes, who got them from their parents' genes and so on.
These particular two fairies mated and had a little fairy. They named her Violet. That fairy got the transforming-power genes.

As Violet was growing up, her parents taught her how to use her valuable and special powers. They warned her:

1. Only use them for saving people's lives.

2. Don't fool around with them.

But, she wasn't listening to them...
