Thirteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Contest

Riger Plumm Macburl

In the Squirreland, where squirrels lived, there was a king called Boris, and his best warrior was Riger Plumm Macburl. Yet, Riger was an adventurer and began to grow restless. Although he loved this life, he wanted to go adventuring. With permission from Boris, three day's supply of food, he was ready to leave. He left at early dawn.

.Later on, in Shortwood, on one of the trees, he read a sign pointing toward the north:

This way to

Krawksoon River

"Krawksoon?" wondered Riger, not knowing his rivers, lakes and the like. Heading north, he encountered Krawksoon River.
