Filmmaker Ken Burns to Discuss "THE WAR" on NHPTV's "NH Outlook"

(DURHAM, May 23, 2007) - Acclaimed filmmaker and Walpole, NH, resident Ken Burns will talk about his latest documentary, THE WAR, with New Hampshire Public Television's NH OUTLOOK host Beth Carroll Sunday, May 27th @ 9:30 a.m. and Monday, May 28th @ 7:30 p.m. THE WAR is a seven-part series that will premiere September 23rd on NHPTV and PBS stations around the country. The film explores the Second World War through the experience of the Americans who lived it, from the frontlines to the homefront. 

 

In this exclusive interview on NHPTV, Burns explains why his film has no experts, but instead features the voices and stories of communities affected by World War II.
