NEW BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED TO NEW HAMPSHIRE PUBLIC TELEVISION’S GOVERNING AND ADVISORY BOARDS

(DURHAM - June 30, 2015) – The New Hampshire Public Broadcasting (New Hampshire Public Television) Board of Directors recently elected two new board members and re-elected six members to three-year terms. Joining NHPB’s governing board are Scott Milne, president of Milne Travel of West Lebanon, NH, and Peter Rayno, executive vice president of Enterprise Bank, Nashua. The NHPB Board of Directors officers for FY16 are Jeff Gilbert, chair; Katie Wheeler, vice chair; Bill Barker, treasurer; Ron Abramson, secretary; and Mark Collin, past chair. Re-elected to three-year terms were Bill Barker of Dublin; Marge Chiafery, superintendent of the Merrimack School District; Colleen Chen, helicopter pilot, Sugar Hill; James McKim, Global Learning Solutions Development Program Manager; Lois Haskins of Hancock; and Erin Hennessey, State Representative, Littleton. This advisory group serves as ambassadors for NHPTV in delivering messaging about its programs, services and events, brings varied perspectives that contribute to program development, and represent the state’s geographic and demographic diversity. The NHPB Community Advisory Board members are: Dr. Kristen Nevious (chair), director of the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communications at Franklin Pierce University; Joan Goshgarian (vice chair), executive director of the NH Business Committee for the Arts; Steve Ahnen, president of the NH Hospital Association; Thomas Blinkhorn of Hanover; Janice Crawford, executive director of the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce; Mary DeVries, executive director of the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce; Lew Feldstein, retired CEO of the NH Charitable Foundation; Cheryl Lee Gilbert of Exeter; Brian Hoffman, deputy director of the Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc.; Pamela Laflamme, community development director of the City of Berlin; Pelagia Vincent of Greenfield; and Justine Vogel, president of RiverWoods at Exeter. nhptv.org/about/cab.asp
