- Build Green NH offers resources for home owners and building professionals. A green home uses less energy, water and natural resources, creates less waste and is healthier for the people living inside compared to a standard home.
- NH Business and Industry Association is NH's state chamber of commerce and leading business advocate. Their mission is to promote a healthy business climate and robust economic future for NH.
- NH Department of Environmental Services responsibilities range from ensuring high levels of water quality for water supplies, ecological balance, and recreational benefits, to regulating the emissions of air pollutants, to fostering the proper management of municipal and industrial waste, to managing water resources for future generations.
- NH Office of Energy and Planning promotes the principles of smart growth at the state, regional, and local levels through the through a variety of programs and services.
- NH Businesses for Social Responsibility‘s mission is to build and support a network of businesses committed to adopting socially responsible business practices, recognizing that people, principles and profits are inseparably linked. Businesses can be financially successful while bringing out the best in the human spirit, enriching the community and being respectful of the natural environment.
- PATH (Program for Alternative Transportation and Health) mission is to maintain the economic viability of the Central NH region by reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality and increasing societal emphasis on personal fitness through the creation of services and materials which promote transportation options to the single occupancy vehicle.

- NH Carbon Challenge works to educate, inspire and support sustained reductions in residential energy consumption. Roughly half of all climate-warming greenhouse gas emissions come from households through their energy consumption for motor vehicles, home heating, and electricity usage. Fortunately, there are many simple actions we can take in our homes to reduce our energy consumption and these actions will also save us money.
- NH Sustainable Energy Association members are concerned about NH's energy future, imported oil, limited natural resources, and the environment. They see renewable energy in NH as a viable answer for today's and tomorrow's energy challenges. Together, we can work to reduce our energy consumption.

- Granite State Clean Cities Coalition is a collaborative of over 70 public and private interests from all regions in NH. - Freecycle.org Hundreds of NH communities have registered on this community bulletin-board site where members list items they want to give away for free. Registration is free. You can list an item you want to get rid of—as well as search the listing for items you need. Enter your city and state to find your local group.
- Earth 911 believes every day is "Earth Day". This site provides leads on where to donate used cars, computers, cell phones and other objects. It’s also a resource for local places where you can recycle or safely dispose of metals, paint, ink-jet cartridges, and electronics.
- American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) site provides check lists and step-by-step guides for planning upgrades. It also links to sites that detail which types of purchases qualify for federal tax credits, state incentives, and rebates from utilities.
