NH Primary Highlights and Analysis
The state primary is over and the candidates have now set their sights on the November election. The key primary races were in the state's two Congressional districts where Republicans battled it out for a chance to take on the Democratic incumbents in Congress.

We have coverage of primary night results from both races. Plus, James Pindell, founder of the political website, PolitickerNH.com, provides analysis of the races and a look at what's ahead as the candidates focus on November.

Newsman Mike Pride
The long-time editor of the Concord Monitor stepped aside in June, retiring after 30 years at the newspaper. He spent those years improving the quality of the paper while shaping its coverage of the issues and people of New Hampshire.

There was much to write about including eight Presidential primaries, the loss of Concord school teacher Christa McAuliffe on the Space Shuttle Challenger, and the ongoing fight over school funding.

Along the way, he trained numerous young journalists who have gone on to distinguised careers elsewhere. NH Outlook's Richard Ager caught up with Mike Pride and learned that retirement is a relative term.
