Watch Program Online using RealPlayer      Wild Weather Updates; Passenger Rail Service - NH Outlook

Tornado Update
It's been a little more than two weeks since a devastating tornado hit central New Hampshire. People affected by the storm are still working on getting their lives back to normal. One of the biggest tasks still remaining is clearing the enormous amount of debris the tornado left in its path. NH's Director of Emergency Management, Chris Pope, updates NH Outlook's Richard Ager on the recovery efforts.

Anyone with a large amount of debris left by the storm is advised to get professional advice on the dangerous job of removing trees. For more information, visit UNH Forests and Trees or call 1-800-444-8978.

Van Berkum Nursery
A dozen businesses were damaged by the tornado and the Van Berkum Nursery in Deerfield took a direct hit. The tornado touched down there first and damaged hundreds of shade trees. NH Outlook's Phil Vaughn shows us how the family owned business is relying on the community to help in its recovery.

New Passenger Rail Service Plan
With soaring gas prices and crowded highways, New Hampshire is looking to revitalize a 35-mile stretch of passenger rail line. The line would link Concord, Lowell and Boston and is being promoted as an economic engine for the region. This story explores the plan and the process for making it happen.
