SEEING SENIORS
"There's No Place Like Community". That was the theme of NH's sixth annual conference on aging. It brought together seniors, caregivers, family members, professionals and public officials to explore how to improve community life for everyone, including elders. We'll see some highlights of the event.
The keynote speaker of the conference was Valerie Fletcher, an internationally known expert on livable communities. She talks with Outlook host Beth Carroll about the concept of Universal Design, creating products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design.
