UNH Authors' Series: Poet Charles Simic
Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Charles Simic talks one-on-one with Yankee humorist, book reviewer and author Rebecca Rule. Simic has been a professor of English at UNH for over 30 years. He’s published more than 60 books, including "Charon’s Cosmology", which was nominated for a National Book Award, and "The World Doesn’t End: Prose Poems", which won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry. He’s also received a MacArthur Fellowship, the American Academy of Poets Edgar Allen Poe Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship and two grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. In 2003 he was awarded the international Horst Bienek Prize for Poetry.
