Zydeco Shoes
A Stratham woman's trip to New Orleans eight years ago has turned into a cookbook with a twist. Alexandria Hayes' "Zydeco Shoes: A Sensory Tour of Cajun Culture" includes authentic Cajun recipes and vivid paintings by a self-taught artist from New Orleans. Hayes had some help from friend and New Hampshire book designer Bob Swanson. Hayes and Swanson join host Beth Carroll in-studio to talk about the new book.

Health Care in NH
As the cost of health insurance for consumers and employers across the country continues to rise there's a new report offering a blueprint for New Hampshire's health care system. The Endowment for Health, a non-profit foundation based in Concord, has released the final report of the "Pillars Project." In 2004, the Endowment charged a group of citizens, health care providers and community leaders with studying New Hampshire's health care system and offering recommendations to improve it. Richard Ager sat down with Doctor Jim Squires, the President of the Endowment for Health, to learn more about the roadmap for change.

New Hampshire’s leading healthcare organizations have joined the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, a new nationwide initiative to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need.
