Students can create a simulated portfolio of stocks, bonds, futures, and mutual funds at this site designed to help them learn more about investment and how the markets work. The site lets students create an online portfolio and actively buy, sell, and trade stocks.
The Stock Market Game
This game simulation is aimed at upper elementary, junior high school, high school and college students. Starting with a virtual cash account of $100,000, students strive to create the best-performing portfolio using a live trading simulation. They work together in teams, practicing leadership, organization, negotiation, and cooperation as they compete for the top spot.
