The reason is food allergies, which now affect an estimated 4% of all children, and can result in death. NH Outlook's Richard Ager spoke with a leading allergist about treatments. He also went food shopping with one family to better understand how they deal with their child's allergies. As you will see, it goes far beyond knowing what is safe to put on a plate.
