About the New Hampshire Primary Mock Election
What is a Primary Mock Election?
Students across New Hampshire have the opportunity to research the presidential candidates and then, a week before the New Hampshire Primary, cast their own votes for a candidate.
When is the New Hampshire Primary Mock Election
The New Hampshire Primary Mock Election runs until January 2008. Schools are asked to vote on or before Janaury 4, 2008.
Is There a Charge?
There is no charge.
Who are students voting for in the New Hampshire Primary Mock Election?
Students will vote for a presidential candidate in either the Republican or Democratic Party. Students must pick a party, they can not vote in both primaries. You will find voter registration cards in the resources section of this site. Students can register for a party using the cards.
When does the New Hampshire Primary Mock Election take place?
Voting in schools can take place anytime. Each school or class is free to determine when it is best to conduct their election. Schools and classes need to submit their vote totals on or before 5 p.m. on January 4, 2008.
How do we submit our results?
Results can be faxed to New Hampshire Public Television-Attention: Knowledge Network at 603-868-7552, emailed to sadams@nhptv.org, or phoned in to Susan Adams at 603-868-4354 at any time. Results will be announced on this website by 11 p.m. on January 4, 2008.
