The Research Channel
This site has over 3,000 videos ranging from programs for K-12 to programs for post-secondary use. You will also find a 24/7 webcast of programming. University of California Television
This online channel has programming in health and medicine, science, public affairs, arts and music, and the humanities. The site include the "Teacher's Pet" program that provides professional development programming.

Type in NOVA and WGBH for a full listing of all the NOVA videos online at Google.

You'll find a wealth of NASA resources here, including video, NASA TV, and images. To create a direct link to a NASA video, right click on "View this Video" and then select "copy shortcut." Paste the shortcut onto your web page as a hyperlink.

Google does it again. Locate video from sources all over the world. You will find free and fee video and video clips here.

YouTube
This is a video-based social networking site that features video submissions from people all over the world. It is currently very popular with teens and young adults, but you will find videos from scientists, researchers, and teachers. You can directly embed a video into a web page by copying a string of code from the site. Look to the right of the video, you will see a box. In the box is a form field that says "embed" simply copy the code and paste it into the code of your web page where you want the video to appear. This does not place the video on your page, it only looks like it does.

Internet Archive
You'll find a collection of open source movies and advertising, educational, and industrial films at this site.

BBC Motion Gallery
The BBC has put clips of over 300,000 hours of video footage on the web. You can view the footage and also download it.

Hulu
Hulu features streaming video for movies and TV shows from NBC, Fox, and other providers.
