JASON Expedition: Mysteries of Earth and Mars
Dr. Robert Ballard and a team of scientists will take students and teachers on the trip of a lifetime -- to Mars! Working with NASA, as well as research and academic institutions around the world, students will conduct investigations and make discoveries that will help unravel the Mysteries of Earth and Mars.
Join the JASON Expedition Team as we look at:
- The principles of space travel.
- The geology of the Earth and Mars.
- Extreme lifeforms on Earth.
JASON Air Dates
The JASON Expedition: Mysteries of Earth and Mars broadcast will take place January 30 to February 3, 2006, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. These LIVE hour-long broadcasts will feature researchers and Argonauts, who have been investigating Mars exploration technology, planetary geology, and astrobiology. Mark your calendar and be sure to tune in to NHPTV from your classroom for this interactive event!
