   Asteraceae - The Daisy Family
SunflowerThere are about 20,000 species of plants in this group. The flowers in this group usually have petals that are joined together at the base while their tips remain separate. Plants include lettuce, daisies, chrysanthemums, asters, dandelions, thistles, artichokes, sunflowers, dahlias, marigolds, zinnias, asters, chamomile, sage, tarragon, ragweed, thistle and yarrow.
